High Performance Grease and Oil Resistant Conveyor Belt

As a rule, oils and greases have a very destructive impact on rubber, and in order to protect rubber components in the conveyor belt from swelling, types of rubber that are resistant to oil and grease should be applied.




Basic construction of conveyor belt

• two- or multi-ply EP carcass (warp polyester + weft polyamide)

• a special intermediate skimmed layer

• special oil and grease resistant types of rubber cover

Special features


OR-300 grade has excellent resistance to the toughest oil application such as oil-treated coal, petroleum based oils.

OR-200 grade has superior oil resistance to various kinds of animal and vegetable oil with severe cold temperature up to – 45oC(50oF).

OR-100 grade is to resist Moderate Oil Resistant operations like wood chips, linseed, cottonseed and whole soybeans where static conductivity is needed.

HTN/HOT grade is recommended for conveying hot asphalt with material temperature up to max 175oC (350oF, in normal condition) where both oil & heat resistance are required.









Oil resistant conveyor belt application

Oil resistant belts are specially designed to handle greasy material or products containing oil, animal or vegetable fats, Mineral oils, solvents, weak acids etc. at temperatures 15oC to 100oC










Characteristics:

The belt compounded of oil resistant synthetic rubber has good resistant to the damaging effects encountered when conveying oil contaminated or treated materials.
